Vehicle has overheating problem w/ the fans being direct & no thermostat but it first builds presser then overheats (possible heater core or warped head?)

Yeah it sounds like your head gasket or a cracked head, only because you said that it buils up pressire 1st them over heats. classic sign of head problem.good luck
