2002 mercury mountaineer transmission?
2002 mercury mountaineer transmission.
i replaced it in nov 06 and since then have taken it to the shop 3 times expressing concern - weird sounds feels weird and ultimately leaking. hello! yeah they said it was "fine" and the fluid level was topped off. so this time i take it in and after 2 days they said they replaced the seal and the fluid and i coudl come get it.. they changed their minds i guess cuz its been 2 weeks now and now they are
saying i need a whole new one! oh and the man
ufacturer wont honor warranty.
hmmm any ideas how i should handle this??? (i owe $11k still on loan!) the shop wants $2000 up front for new tranny and payments on remaining $500! lol
