50:1 will usually be sufficient and an adequate amount of oil to keep things lubricated in the old two stroke engines. this mixture will smoke a bit at lower rpms, but should be fine overall. this mix can be accomplished by adding 2.5 (2 and a half) ounces of two stroke oil to each gallon of gasoline giving you very close to the 50:1 mix you seek.
