96 mercury mystique stalling at stops or lights. have had everything checked out and no one knows what it is..

Sounds like a idle air control valve or iac for short stop by your local ford lincoln mercury dealer and have them check it out, depends what size engine it is and parts dept may need # off of old part to get correct one.
