Mercury help! =(?
A)the surface rocks of mercury are believed to have densities of approximately 3g/cm^3. based on the planets bulk density,is the internal density equal to,greater than, or less than the surface density?b) based on part a is it likely mercury is differentiated?c) does mercurys rotational period suggerst a magnetic field should be present?d) suggest two reasons why the daytime tempertaure on mercury is high.answering any of these will help me alot..thank you so much for your time. (:
Answer
A - it is probably greater than it is surface density. b - yes, because it implies the heavier rocks & material lie below the surfacec - no. it rotates , slowly.d. 1 - it is proximity to the sun, and 2 the duration of it is day (it rotates so slowly, that the daytime period of mercury last many earth days.)
