I can check to see what might the problem be rahter than taking it to a dealer? the abs and check engine lights are also on. i had a mechanic check the car and everthing is fine, can only a dealer make those indicator lights go away? thanks in advance for your help! !

Sounds like a brake sensor issue. take it to the dealer, this is an item covered under warranty.
