Where does the door contact switch go on a 2000 mercedes benz e320 wagon?
I was told that i needed a contact switch to have e
thing operate normally again (interior lights, and lights blinking when locked with keyfob). i was told that this switch is the reason why the car thinks that the drivers side door is open. i bought a replacement switch, but where in the door does it go?

Look in the door frame, near the vin sill, its right around there, im not sure
if this is a do it urself job...
