1999 mercedes benz 300e ~ horn does not work...help!?
I have a 1999 mercedes benz 300e and when pressing the horn it does nothing. i put a meter on the horn relay and it was putting out 12 volts whether i had the horn pressed in or out. i found this to be strange because i would think it would only put out the 12v when the horn was pressed, and should put out nothing if the horn was not pressed, but that was not the case.i have replaced the horn relay and that did not solve the problem. i have been trying to find a fuse for the horn and i have not found a fuse that directly relates to the horn. if anyone knows the location of the horn fuse, advise.does anyone have any thoughts on how i might resolve this issue. also, if anyone has any idea what other items i need to check to troubleshoot this problem, it would be greatly appreciated,
