When we left our c230 to get tinted and install a ipod connector and they gave us one to borrow, the one they lent us was not a kompressor. it had 7 gears and seemed to pick up a lot faster than our c230 kompressor with 4 gears..

Kompressor is the german word for supercharger. the 5 speed kompressor models were 4 cylinder engines that rated 189hp. the newer 7 speed automatic models have a v-6 engine. thes naturally-aspirated engines rate 201hp without the supercharger.
