About 2002 mercedes-benz c230 kompressor sport coupe?
I just bearly got a 2002 mercedes-benz c230 kompressor sport coupe and it is set to be driven auto or six-speed blokeual gearbox...and i decided to drive blokeual for a while. and when i did it made alot of noise, maybe i thouight it was because i had the wrong gears at the worng time... so i wanted to know, when to drive at gear 1 2 3 4 5 or 6?

The first 2 gears always need to be shifted sooner rather than later in any 5 or 6 speed car with a somewhat powerful engine. never go by the manual for when to shift gears, they will tell you to shift into 3rd at 35mph which is retarded. just get the feel and always shift before the redline of course, manuals are always louder than autos. i did not realize you had dual drive, both auto and manual, just do what the guy above me said and watch the rpm gauge when it shifts in auto and shift in manual at around the same rpm.
