Generally as a rule you can measure the radius of the tires on the car from center of rim to outside edge of tire, if this exceeds the desired rim size by at least 1.5 inches you are

put more rim and less tire in the same space, without throwing off speedometer or anything as long as the tire height is the same on both wheels i.e. from ground to top of tire.
