Had a new water pump put on an old lincoln town car. now the freeze plug is gone.?
Does this have anything to do with the water pump? the dealer who sold the car to me is also doing the work. of course charging me. i am
wondering if he could have lost this and is now charging me to install a new one.

Freeze plug is gone? they are not
something that easily comes out, although would be easy to lose once they were gone.
how long ago did you buy the car? was it recently
that you can complain about him selling you a lemon?
they have
nothing to do with your water pump, and on most cars that i have worked on, although not on a lincoln, you have
to pull the whole engine to change the freeze plugs.
you may want to get a second opinion. its always a nice
idea to get a second opinion,
if you are not
happy with the first one.
