Synthetic oil vs blended oil?
I have an 02 town car that came with full synthetic oil, at my first oil change, the promto garage mechanic asked me if i wanted to stay with full synthetic or go to a blend synthetic (which was cheaper). i choose to stay with the full synthetic. i am now ready for another oil change, and the lincoln dealer said i could change to blended oil. he also said if i wanna stay with full synthetic, it would be 50 dollars additional.appreciate any advicethanksjoethanks for all the help in deciding this issue. the car has 48k on it. i am going to stay with the full synthetic. i just came from walmart, and checked the price on full synthetic, the most expensive was $5.67 a qt.
