Engine temperature on my 2000 jeep cherokee is low?
All of a sudden my engine temperature is lower than normal on my 2000 jeep cherokee and engine feels
cool even when runnung for a long period of time. it usually is around 210 dgrees but, now its about 20 degrees cooler. i recently had the oil changed and put a winter blended oil in it could this be what causes this?

The thermostat is stuck in the open position and it allows the engine coolant to contunously circulate causing the engine to remain cooler and will cause a significant decrease in mpg. if you have never had the coolant system flushed out the problem may re-occure if there are debris in the coolant system that could cause the newly installed thermostat to stick.
