97 jeep tj makes poping sound when you let off the clutch?
What could b the problem? it comes from the rear end of the jeep

You better get it to the shop to be checked out. it could be a universal joint fixing to break, which will leave you sitting where it does. other possibilities are the rear end, loose shock or bad bushings. also check to make sure that nothing is rolling around and hitting the rear of the jeep when you try to accellerate.
