Can fiberglass structural body parts be repaired?
I had what appeared to be a inexpensive repair to my infiniti that became very expensive when the body shop took the front bumper off. the hit was to the front bumper and fender at a 45 degree angle to the car. two of the supporting structures that hold up the fender well and the radiator are fiberglass and they had to be replaced because of breaks across important joints. if they were metal a simple weld would have fixed them or they would not have broke but would have needed some straightening.
