Personally, i would stick with the vq35de in the z and modify the heck out of it. it cant be cheap to buy and install the 5.6 motor into a z. plus you are adding more weight to the z and probably throwing off the weight distribution. i would hit up http://forums.nicoclub.com/ for more information.
